Simple exercises to prevent knee pain and osteoarthritis

In this video, orthopaedic knee surgeon - Dr. Taufiq Panjwani explains simple exercises that everyone can do to prevent knee pain in early/mild osteoarthritis. Knee osteoarthritis is the most common cause of knee pain around the world.

 

But, What can be done to prevent it? Knee exercises are one of the most important tools to improve knee muscle strength and reduce knee pain.

1. Ankle pumps

2. Quads sets

3. Short arc quads

4. Straight leg raises

5. Seated leg extensions

6. Hamstring curls
